Diaphragm

7.Diaphragms

A rubber diaphragm is a flexible membrane that is anchored between two chambers at its periphery, moving slightly up into one chamber or down into another chamber depending on differences in pressure. The flexible nature of the diaphragm will allow pressure effects to cross the barrier without exchanging any media thus preventing unwanted transmission of a working fluid between chambers.

Diaphragms may be divided into two classifications. Static diaphragms separate two fluids and are subject to little or no motion and/or pressure differential. Dynamic diaphragms act as sealing devices between stationary and moving members; they usually transmit a force or pressure.

If a dependable and accurate response to a hydraulic or pneumatic pressure change is needed then almost certainly a diaphragm seal is required.

Rubber diaphragms are critical to the operation of equipment and systems in the industrial, automotive, aerospace, oil, gas, medical instrumentation, and pump and valve industries.

MREW is experienced in engineering and manufacturing solutions for a wide range of diaphragm applications including: pumps, pneumatic diaphragm pumps, high pressure diaphragm pumps, diaphragm pressure gauges, diaphragm vacuum pumps, diaphragm air compressors, diaphragm fuel pumps, diaphragm metering pumps, actuators, pneumatic actuators, thermal actuators, wax actuators, and control valves flow control, pressure sensors in pneumatic systems.

We specialize in the manufacturing of Rubber Diaphragms from all types of Rubber Grades like Silicone, Viton®, EPDM, Nitrile, Neoprene, Natural & Others.
